‘Ele‘ele’s Mariah Paiste was triumphant in her division at the U.S. Kids Golf State Championships in Honolulu at the Turtle Bay Golf Course on June 20.
Paiste qualified in the nine-year-old division for nine holes and heads off to the U.S. Kids Golf World Championships from July 27-30 at Williamsburg, Virginia.

Paiste’s parents are Gregory and Marie Paiste.
Paiste’s grandfather, George, is a coach for the Waimea High School golf team.
Mariah is also a member of the Kaua‘i Junior Golf program.
