Anacleto Butay
Anacleto “Johnny” Gamiao Butay of Kekaha, died at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital on May 16, 2005, at the age of 91.
Born in Bangui Lanao, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on March 14, 1914, he is preceded in death by his wife, Florencia Cadavona Butay.
He is survived by one son, Anacleto (Lenore) Butay Jr. of Tulsa, Okla.; two daughters, Maura (Francisco) Sabado of Kekaha and Arlene (Douglas) McCully of Camas, Wash.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Jose Butay of the Philippines; sister, Carlina Agullana of the Philippines; three step-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family at 8 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, at St. Theresa Catholic Church; Mass officiated by Father Larry will begin at 10 a.m. followed by burial at the Kekaha Public Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.

Rebbecca Lynn Chow of Koloa died at home on May 17, 2005, at the age of 49.
Born in Dallas, Texas on May 22, 1955, she was a dedicated homemaker.
She is survived by her husband Kelvin Chow, daughter; Cressie Chow, son; Jacob Chow, all of Koloa, parents; Donald & Patricia Ragsdale of Arizona, two brothers; Donald (Carla) Ragsdale of Utah, Larry (Tammy) Ragsdale of Arizona, and two granddaughters, Kayla & Kierra Chow.
Services will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2005 at Lawai Seventh Day Adventist Church with viewing from 11 a.m. Services will begin at 12 noon. Burial will follow at the Lihue Public Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by Kauai Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home.
