The Open house Thanksgiving Singles Horseshoe pitching tournament came away with lots of winners, which included children’s 8 and over division winner Daniel Reis of Anahola Horseshoe Club. Second-place went to Wylan Kamoku of Anahola and third went to Amanda Constantine of Hanalei Horseshoe Pitchers.
In the six and under division, Makana Daligon-Kamoku of Anahola won the top prize, followed by Maddison Sargent of Hanalei, and Jasmine Constantine of Hanalei.
After an exciting play-off for first, Wayne VerHaagh of Anahola took home first-place and the big bird, while Wyatt Kamoku landed second-place and a ham. Governing third-place was brother Lopaka Kamoku, who took home the smaller bird.
The special group ended the day with a three way tie for first. Playing off for the top spot were Kim Lindstedt, Randy Poor from Hanalei, and Kimo Reis of Anahola.
Bullying his way to the top Kim Lindstedt took the big bird back to the Northshore with a 4-1 record and a total of 98 points and bragging rights.
Hanalei Horseshoe Pitchers Randy Poor got second, and Randy claimed the ham. Anahola’s Reis took the smaller bird home for third place.
In group three, Hanalei dominated with Todd Sargent controlling the first position, with an undefeated record and a total of 86 points. Todd, for the second time took the big bird home. Second was Ed Constantine and Natrisha Daligon-Kamoku got the smaller bird.
