Iraq War
Fact: August 2004: President Bush stated that he would have attacked Iraq
even if he had known that there were no Weapons of Mass Destruction.
Fact: Early 2003: President Bush addresses Saddam Hussein directly and told the whole world also that if only he (Saddam) would get rid of his WMD, there would be no invasion or attack of Iraq.
Question: In the future, how can the American people and the leaders of other nations ever again trust a mendacious President?
Belated political advice: Mr. President, you should have stuck to your previous story that the attack was due to faulty intelligence.

Healing the land
There is a picture I have hanging over my desk. It is the American Flag with these words superimposed on it. 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin , and will heal their land.”
I keep thinking, I pray for our soldiers all the time, but I believe it is our leaders who must humble themselves, seek his face, and turn from their wicked ways n only then will our land be healed.

War record
I want to preface my remarks by expressing my sincere thanks to Mr. Antonson and other Veterans for their service to our country and I appreciate the sacrifices that he and others made in the Vietnam War.
I respect your opinion, but prefer to rely on facts to reach my conclusion of the Massachusetts Senator. History reflects that Senator Kerry served a short stint (3-1/2 months) in Vietnam piloting a swift boat on a river. He was reportedly wounded three times during that period, but is refusing to release his medical records, contrary to what President Bush has already provided.
Some of the men who served with Kerry have stated that his wounds were superficial and no more than cuts. In the military, the provisions of (AR-600-45) allowed Kerry to receive multiple awards. Had he served in public safety, he would’ve discovered that law enforcement officer’s receive the prestigious Purple Heart only when a fellow officer recommends it based on serious injury in the line of duty and meritorious service.
Many people have forgotten Kerry’s dishonorable anti-war comments, when he returned to the U.S. I would urge all prospective voters to listen to the 1970’s tape of the younger Kerry when he denigrated our soldiers serving in combat conditions while he denounced them from our nation’s Capitol!
As a U.S. Senator, Mr. Kerry is even worse, it is no secret that he is gone a majority of the time and fails to vote on at least 40% of Senate bills and measures. In fact, I can’t recall any major bill or important legislation that this waffling senior-statesman has authored in 20-plus years.
During a time of war, we need a decisive Commander & Chief who is available more than 60% of the time to administer the Oval Office!
