Lacrosse coming to Kaua‘i
Here’s a great chance for the people of Kaua‘i to see some awesome Lacrosse action.
On Tuesday, August 3rd, at 6 p.m. at Vidinha Stadium, there will be an exhibition game of youth lacrosse with players from Guilford, Ct., and from the Aloha Youth Lacrosse Association on O‘ahu.
The following 2 days, the players and coaches from the Guilford Youth Lacrosse Association will be offering a clinic to all kids and adults who are interested in learning how to play, and coach lacrosse.
The clinic will also be held at Vidinha Stadium on August 4 from 1-4 p.m., and on August 5, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
On August 5, there will be a coaching clinic, and several contests — most accurate shot, longest shot, etc. — with prizes awarded.
The clinic is free, but a donation will be asked for, the proceeds of which will go to help in the establishment of the Kaua‘i Youth Lacrosse Association, which will have its inaugural season starting in the spring of 2005.
