The HHSAA/Carlsmith Ball State Tennis Championships on the Big Island has been good to some Kaua‘i athletes. In boys singles action, Kapa‘a’s Justin Vea used three sets to defeat Ramsay Yakut of King Kekaulike 4-6, 6-0, 7-6 (7).
