Irons brothers featured in Fox surfing special
Fox Sports Net is showcasing World Pro surfing champion Andy Irons of Hanalei in a one-hour special on The Boost Mobile Pro presented by Quiksilver – the seventh leg of the 12 round World Championship Tour.
The broadcast is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 5.
Irons and his brother Bruce were among the 44 surfers and four wildcard competitors who competed at Lower Trestles near San Clemente, Calif. The one-hour show highlights four days of competition in incredible waves, and Andy Irons’ race against six-time world champion Kelly Slater of Cocoa Beach, Fla. toward the 2003 world title.

Na Wahine Moloka‘i Channel race
Neighbor Island outrigger canoe paddling teams entered in the Na Wahine Moloka‘i race include: Kawaihae, Lae‘ula O Kai, Wailua Kayak & Canoe from Kaua‘i, Kaiola from Kaua‘i and a Mamala Hoe 45’s team.
