Alio Santos Sr.
Alio Clarence Santos, Sr. of Edmore, Michigan, dies at Kelsey Memorial Hospital on June 25, 2003 at the age of 91.
Born in the Philippines on April 2, 1912, he was retired from the Board of Water Supply.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl Rapozo Santos; two children, Alio (Cynthia) Santos, Jr., of Edmore, MI; and Kathleen (Michael) Hanson of O‘ahu; three grandchildren, Erin Santos, Alio Santos III, Bradley Santos.
Preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret L. Santos, an infant daughter, and brother, Edward Santos.
Memorial Services to be held at a later date.
Arrangements are being handled by Stebbins-McCullough Chapel.
Natsumi Uyeno
Natsumi Uyeno of Hanapepe, died at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital on June 25, 2003 at the age of 90.
Born in Makaweli, on June 29, 1912, she was a Homemaker.
Preceded in death by husband, Masashi; brother, Kiyoshi Matsumoto; sister, Yachiyo Imamura. She is survived by four sons, David (Lottie) Uyeno of O‘ahu, Richard (Claudia) Uyeno of Calif., Glenn (Fumi) Uyeno of O‘ahu and Bert (Un Sim) Uyeno of Hanapepe; two daughters, Joyce (Lindsay) Yoshioka of Puhi and Elsie (Nelson) Peleras of Calif.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Kazuo (Yoshiko) Matsumoto of O‘ahu; three sisters, Judy Sakayo Tong, Sandra Yoshino (Fred) Okada and Natsue Okada all of O‘ahu; sister-in-law, Jean Matsumoto; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at the Garden Island Mortuary Chapel; service officiated by Rev. Fujimori will begin at 5 p.m. Aloha attire is suggested and flowers omitted.
