Camilo Tangonan
Camilo Tangonan of Lihue, Kauai, died at home on Oct. 10, 2002 at the age of 81.
Born in Sinait, Ilocos Sur, Philippines on Sept. 8, 1921, he was a retired Automotive Technician with Grove Farm.
He is survived by wife, Noemi of Lihu’e, two sons, Rinante (Mildred) Tangonan of Lihue, Kauai and Fred Tangonan of Lihue; two daughters, Jacqueline (Joseph) Cafferello of Kaneohe, Oahu and Estrelita (Joseph) Castro of Mililani, Oahu; ten grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; four brothers, Emiliano Tangonan of Maui, Canuto Tangonan of Kilauea, Sebastian Tangonan of Kilauea and Narciso Tangonan of Davao, Philippines; sister, Natividad Duran of Davao, Philippines; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Lihue United Church of Christ; service officiated by Rev. Wesley B. Elmore will begin at 10 a.m. followed by burial at the Kauai Memorial Gardens. Casual or aloha attire is suggested.

Elizabeth McKenna
Elizabeth Patricia McKenna of Koloa, Kauai, died at Hale Kupuna Heritage Home on Oct. 15, 2002 at the age of 97.
Born in Ireland on Mar 12, 1905. She was a seamstress.
She is survived by her son: Dr. Gerald McKenna of Koloa.
Services will be held at St. John’s Church at Beacon New York on Saturday, Oct. 19. Casual or aloha attire suggested.
Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
Lucy Barcial
Lucy H. Barcial of Puhi, Kauai, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Oct. 11, 2002 at the age of 76.
Born in Lihue, Kauai on Jan. 1, 1926, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by son, Marvin (Wendy) Barcial of Lihue, Kauai; three grandchildren; three brothers, Angelo Habagat of Puhi, Kauai, Tony (Dora) Habagat of Koloa, Kauai and Sid Habagat of Puhi, Kauai; sister, Sara (Larry) Vito of California; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Private funeral services were held. Arrangements were handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.
