The Globetrotters and Waimea each picked up playoff wins Wednesday at the Kalaheo NC Gymnasium and will now face off in the Boys 17-under Championship game at 3 p.m. on Saturday at Kaua’i High School’s Raiderdome.
The third place game, which will feature HB versus the Lihue Shadows, will take place at 2 p.m. on Saturday at Kaua’i.
The Globetrotters’ Kawika Hepa scored 15 points to lead the Globetrotters to a 43-33 win over the Hanamaulu Boys.
Lionel Tomacder tallied 10 points for HB.
In the second game on Wednesday, the strongman Austin Alquiza scored 22 points to lead Waimea to a 62-24 win over the Lihue Shadows.
Kenan Guzman scored 12 points to lead the Shadows.
