Michael K. Perius, doing business as Lighthouse Realty, recently agreed to pay a $750 fine, according to the state Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs, after the DCCA’s Regulated Industries Complaint Office charged Perius with acting for both parties in regard to a real estate transaction without first having obtained written consent from the parties to do so. The state agency also alleged he failed to keep current the disclosure of required information, and failed to obtain written authorization prior to advertising a property for sale.
Michael A. Givens must pay a $250 fine, after RICO alleged he made a false statement or material misrepresentation in documentation submitted during the process of applying for a real estate license. Both these sanctions were approved by the DCCA’s Real Estate Commission.
