Rita Yuen Cimochowski of Atlanta, Georgia, died at Atlanta on Nov. 10, 2001 at the age of 48.
Born in Honolulu, Oahu, she was a former employee of Alfredo’s Restaurant, Keoki’s, Kaua’i Surf Hotel, and Buzz’s Steak House-Waikiki.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Frances Dung Polansky, she is survived by two daughters: Sheila Ann Cimochowski of Atlanta Georgia; Shelly Cimochowski of Atlanta, Georgia; sister: Barbara (George) Prigge of Lihu’e, Kaua’i; two brothers: Richard Yuen of Honolulu, Oahu, Philip (Laureta) Yuen of Honolulu, Oahu; father: Richard Yuen of Eugene, Oregon; 1 grandson, nieces, nephew, aunt and uncles.
Prayer over her ashes will be held at Kalapaki Beach on Jan. 20, at 2 p.m. Friends and family may meet at the Kaiola Canoe Club at 1:45 p.m. where boats and canoes will be waiting to cast off. The Regerend Jan Rudinoff will say prayers. Very casual attire is suggested and that flowers be omitted.
Richard “Dick” Crawford
Richard C. “Dick” Crawford, 77 died Monday, Dec. 31, at the V.A. Medical Center in La Jolla, California, after a lengthy illness.
Born July 19, 1924 in Kansas City, Kansas. He served as a navigator for the U.S. Navy during World War II. Dick enjoyed 13 years of retirement living at Sun Village, Lihu’e, Kaua’i, until recently moving to Fallbrook, California.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Joan, three sons: Richard, Robert and Phil, one daughter: Candice, three stepdaughters: Sandra Graves, Sheila Henderson and Laurie Reinhardt, 13 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many beloved extended family and friends on Kaua’i.
Private services were held on Kaua’i.
