Clifford Ah-Hee
Clifford Joseph Ah-Hee of Kapa’a, Kaua’i, died on Dec. 17, 2001 at
Wilcox Memorial Hospital, at the age of 55.
Born in Hilo, Hawai’i, on Jan. 18, 1946, He was a Retired Salesman
for the Automotive Industry.
He is survived by his wife: Millie Garcia Ah-Hee of Kapa’a; two sons:
Aaron (Cassie) Camara of Kapa’a, and Shannon (Marci) Ah-Hee of
Waikoloa; two daughters: Holly (Edmund) Acoba of Kekaha and Shana
(Eric) Wang of Waikoloa; one sister: Judy (Masa) Takaki of Papaikou;
three brothers: Walter (Karen) Ah-Hee of Hilo, Lloyd (Phyliss) Ah-Hee
of Honolulu, and Norman (Kai) Ah-Hee of Kahala, 10 grandchildren,
numerous aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may with the family on Friday, Dec. 21 at Borthwick Kaua’i
Mortuary Chapel in Koloa, from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. Services to be
celebrated at 7 p.m. by Father Keahi. Clifford’s cremains will be
carried to Hilo at a later date by his wife, for inurnment to be
announced at a later date. Casual attire is suggested.

Kimie Osaki
Kimie Osaki of Kapa’a, Kaua’i, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on
Dec. 18, 2001, at the age of 93.
Born in Wahiawa, Kaua’i on Aug. 28, 1908, she was a retired
proprietor of S. Osaki Store.
She is survived by daughters, Katherine (George) Matayoshi of Kapaa,
Kaua’i and Marian (Dick) Joe of Fullerton, Calif.; five
grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, Fusao Bob Hirano of
‘Ele’ele, Kaua’i, Phillip Hirano of Honolulu, O’ahu and Seichi Hirano
of Kalaheo, Kaua’i; sisters, Ellen Kawakami of Kalaheo, Kaua’i and
Yukie Ueoka of Wailuku, Maui; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 23, at
the Kapaa Hongwanji Mission; service officiated by Rev. Koho Takata
will begin at 4 p.m. Casual attire is suggested and flowers omitted.

Patricia Roldan
Patricia Roldan of Hacienda, White Cloud, California; died Dec. 2,
2001, in California at the age of 67.
A retired school teacher for 31 years, she was born on the Big Island
on Aug. 23, 1934.
Predeceased by her sister, Delfine Haraguchi, she is survived by her
husband, Sederio Roldan; one son, Jhonthan Roldon and her parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Catbagan of Kapa’a; brothers Maurice (Diana)
Catbagan, Jr., Rodolfo (Val) Catbagan, Irine (Erik) Williams, and
Leilani (Darral) Cramer)..
Services were held in California on Dec. 13. A prayer service will be
held on Kaua’i at a later date. For more information, call Mele

David Hartman
David Ross Hartman of Koloa, Kaua’i, died Dec. 11, 2001, at his home
at the age of 52.
An artist and a glass blower, he was born June 7, 1949, in California.
He is survived by his wife: Jode Hartman of Koloa; one daughter:
Angela (Rich) Distefano of Sacramento; one son: Jon Kindig; one
sister: Susie (Derk) Parker of Kansas; close cousin, Bob Proffitt of
Nebraska, aunts and uncles.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 22, at the Waiohai
Beach at 4 p.m. Family and friends who would like to join the family
at the beach with their surf boards are asked to wear beach attire
and join them in scattering his cremains.
