Hatsue Saito of Kaneohe, HI, died June 1, 2001, at the age of 96.
Predeceased by her husband, Kiichi Saito and son Herbert H. Saito Sr., she was born on April 14, 1905, on Kaua’i.
She is survived by two sons, Robert Sr. (Lorraine) Saito, Thomas (Edna) Saito; two daughters, Jean K. (James) Sato, and Alice K. (Harvey) Hahn; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and two great, great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Takeyoshi Takahashi and Mutsuo Takahashi; two sisters, Harumi Watanabe and Doris F. Nakamoto.Memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 7, at the Nuuanu Mortuary. Casual attire is suggested.
