Walter H. Scott, of Fontana, Wisconsin; Florida and Kaua’i, Hawai’i passed away at Lakeland Medical Center on Jan. 31, 2001 at the age of 91. He was born in Kansas City, Kansas on Dec. 20, 1909. He was a W.W.II
Walter H. Scott, of Fontana, Wisconsin; Florida and Kaua’i, Hawai’i passed away at Lakeland Medical Center on Jan. 31, 2001 at the age of 91.
He was born in Kansas City, Kansas on Dec. 20, 1909. He was a W.W.II Navy Veteran, he manages Foreman & Clark Stores in Hollywood, California and Kaua’i Store in Lihu’e, Kaua’i form 1968 until his retirement in 1977. Walter was a member of the Rotary Club in Walworth-Fontana and in Kaua’i; in Kaua’i he was a member of the Salvation Army Advisory Board, Young Mens Christian Association, YMCA Century Club, Chamber of Commerce, Advisory Board of the Kaua’i Community College and received the Male Senior Citizen Award in 1980.
He is survived by his wife Dorothy, one brother Warren of California; two sisters Harriet Palmer and Virginia Potter both of Omaha, Neb. and four nephews.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2001 at Tonytons Walworth Funeral Home in Walworth, Wisconsin with Rev. Molly Doreza officiating. Arrangement were being handled by Tonytons Funeral Homes
