Memorial Hospital on Dec. 9, 2000, at the age of 85. Born in Lihue, Kauai on
Dec. 20, 1914, he was a retired boiler operator with Lihue Plantation.
He
is survived by: his wife: Kay Y. Hiraoka of Hanamaulu, Kauai; two sons:
Adlai Hiraoka and Franklin (Esmenia) Hiraoka, both of Hanama’ulu,
Kaua’i; one daughter: Joy Hiraoka of Hanama’ulu, Kaua’i; four grandchildren;
sister: Kiyono Fujii of Japan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends
may visit with the family at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 14, at the Lihue
Hongwanji Mission; service officiated by Rev. Yukiko Motoyoshi will begin at 5
p.m. Casual attire is suggested.

Alben E. Osaki of Kapaa, Kauai,
died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Nov. 22, 2000, at the age of 61.
Born
in Kapaa, Kauai on Aug. 20, 1939, he was a former banker and also a veteran of
the United States Navy. He is survived by: one son: Alben S. Osaki of Kapaa,
Kauai.
