A livestock assistance program is asking ranchers to apply for monetary help
through the County Farm Service Agency under the U.S. Dep. of
Agriculture.
*Is this loan or subsidy money?
*Why should taxpayers help
livestock businesses?
*The flesh of animals (meat) has been indicted by
mainstream health organizations (cancer, stroke, heart, etc.) as a
non-necessary source of “food.” (Would you like to have your tax dollars go to
help a cookie manufacturer if his business was failing? Private enterprise
should prevail. Hike the price of burgers or steaks up to cover the
losses.)
*If any tax money goes for food production, it should be for
products known to benefit the human race — namely food from a plant
source.
*And only smaller, individual farms should be considered. The
program mentions ranchers with a gross income of less than $2.5 million per
each person in an operation.
