To the Forum:Kudos to Ken Stokes and Frances Frazier. They have both put
the truth before the people and those who make our decisions for us. I am
hoping they will listen and be aware of the dangers that could be ahead. I will
not be able to see the results because of my age but I do fear for future
generations.
Please think and re-think ahead instead of “so-called
improvements” at this time. In the long run what will be the final result of
making gains today and facing loss tomorrow?
The safety of Kaua’i and the
people should be the prime concern. If you think the resources of today are
strained, will more hotels and residences make it better?
I am reminded of
the old saying “If it isn’t broken don’t fix it.” Please don’t give up on a
good thing.
