Happy Labor Day? Not for Kaua‘i Coffee’s Faith Soto, who, Darla Domingo said “retired” on Thursday (Darla had her twin grandchildren running after “the very fast chicken” on Saturday, during The Kaua‘i Marathon Keiki Race). But Faith was helping at the Kaua‘i Coffee tent during the Wilcox Health Sports and Fitness Expo at the Grand Hyatt Resort & Spa in Po‘ipu on Friday and Saturday, and Darla said she came back to help during The Kaua‘i Marathon on Sunday.

Happy retirement, Eileen Naka‘ahiki, following 45 years of providing nursing skills to the community. Stephanie Iona (she was even a patient of Eileen’s) said Eileen was a nurse with Wilcox Hospital for 14 years before ending 31 years at Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waimea.
