Yvonne Uilani Keoho
Yvonne Uilani Keoho of Hanamaulu passed away on Sept. 13, 2016, at home at the age of 64. She was born on Dec. 31,1951, in Waimea, Kauai. Yvonne worked at Wal-mart as a fabric department associate and also a people greeter where she later retired. She was a seamstress and a crafter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Punilei Manini Sr. and Beverly Ann Manini; her children’s father, Albert K. Keoho Sr.; and her brother, Hokulani Manini. She is survived by two sons, Albert K. Keoho Jr. of California, Philbert (Sherry) Keoho of Hanamaulu, and one daughter Kimberly (Joey) Camelo of Hanamaulu; three brothers, Joseph P. Manini Jr., Elwood Manini and Eben Manini; three sisters, Erna Kamibayashi, Clorinda Fiso and Bonnyjean Manini; her Aunty Laynette (Frank) Bukoski; six grandchildren, Joenicia, Jonessalyn and Joleisha Camelo, Shyatesa, Lance and Lynden Lagundino-Keoho.
Her services will be on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Lihue. Visit with family is at 9 a.m. and services to follow at 10 a.m.

David Elliot Torres Jr.
David Elliot Torres Jr. of Kapaa passed away at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on Sept. 21, 2016, at the age of 38. He was born on Oahu on Jan. 26, 1978, and was employed in the parts department/mechanic for Two Wheels/Garden Island Motor Sports.
He was preceded in death by his father, David Torres Sr., maternal grandparents, Dado and Tina Tomacder; paternal grandparents, Elias and Hilda Torres.
David is survived by his mother, Sally Torres of Kapaa; sister, Shannon (Victor) Aquino of Texas; niece, Zyaesjah Torres Sueoka; nephews, Samson Aquino and Tyrion Aquino; numerous aunties, uncles and cousins.
Services to be announced.

Glenda Lewis
Glenda Lewis passed on to a better life on Sept. 16, 2016, at the age of 87. She was born in Tennessee on Feb. 15, 1929, and was a dedicated homemaker.
Beloved wife of Walter Lewis of Lihue; beloved mother of Julie Ann Schmidt of Napa, California, Robin Lewis of Vallejo, California and step-son, Richard Lewis of Walnut Creek, California; beloved grandmother of Michael Schmidt and Katie Schmidt of Napa, California; loving sister of Virginia Lovejoy and Neal Cooper; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of her life to be held later.

Santiago Reyes Miguel
Santiago Reyes Miguel, 80, of Hanapepe, Kauai, passed away on Sept. 12, 2016, at Straub Clinic and Hospital in Honolulu.
Born on April 8, 1936, in Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, he was a retired drip operator.
He was preceded in death by his parents Onesimo and Aleja Miguel, sister Estela Miguel and also his hanai parents Macario and Adriana Reyes. He is survived by his wife Teresita Miguel, son: Robert (Stacie) Miguel, one grandchild, four sisters: Lydia Rivera, Florencia (Andres) Guerrero, Violeta Acierto and Naty (Roy) Rivers, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday Oct. 1, 2016, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo from 8 to 9:45 a.m. where Mass will be celebrated at 10 am. Burial to follow at Holy Cross Church Cemetery.

Imogene Hagensen Miner
Imogene Miner (née Imogene Mary Harbison) died on Sept. 11, 2016, at the age of 95. Born in Duluth, Minnesota to Agnes and Eugene Harbison on Oct. 3, 1920, she is survived by four children: Joy Corpolongo, Julie Hagensen, Elizabeth Feryl and Bruce Hagensen; a son-in-law, Yuri Montgomery; three grandchildren: Elise De Silva, Erika Kammer and Alexander Montgomery; four great grandchildren and hanai daughter Margaret Guiler. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Malcolm Miner, in 2012.
Imogene was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Mayflower Society and Chapter DJ of the P.E.O. Sisterhood. She was a “Life Member” of the Order of St. Luke the Physician, and served on the National Board of the Order for six years.
While working at the University of Washington, where she received her degree in Comparative Religion at the age of 66, Imogene received two National Awards from the Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority as the “Housemother of the Year.”
Upon moving to Kauai in 1987, Imogene Miner became a devoted member of the St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Lihue. She served on the vestry and the altar guild, and as a licensed lay reader and chalice bearer. She also assisted her husband, the late Rev. Malcolm Miner, at weddings and other church services. In the community, Imogene supported the Kauai Museum, the Historical Society and the YWCA. She served on the Board of the YWCA for six years and offered her services as a volunteer remedial teacher for elementary school children.
The celebration of life will be held on Oct. 4, 2016, at 4:30 p.m. at St. Michael’s Church, 4364 Hardy Street, Lihue, Kauai. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made either to St. Michael’s Church or YWCA.
Marjorie Joyce Nunes
Marjorie Joyce Nunes, 79, of Kalaheo and Eleele, Kauai, passed away on Sept. 18, 2016, at Samuel Mahelona Hospital.
Born on April 10, 1937, in Kauai she was a retired bus driver from Yamaguchi bus service.
She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Octavia Nunes, two brothers, Robert and Timothy Nunes. She is survived by her son: Stanley (Cherry) Farias, Daughter: Caprice (Alex) Sagucio, six grandchildren, three sisters: Mildred Orsatelli, Shirley Martin and Loretta Grace; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016, at Borthwick/Kauai Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 9: to 9:45 a.m. Memorial services will be celebrated at 10 a.m.
