‘Ohi‘a lehua thriving on Hawai‘i Island

The work of numerous volunteers over the years at Waimea Nature Park on Hawai‘i Island has cultivated a collection of nine different colors of ʻohiʻa lehua.

WAIMEA, Hawai‘i Island — Established 23 years ago, Waimea Nature Park now can boast of having a collection of native ‘ohi‘a trees in at least nine different colors.
