Joe Tadayoshi Miyahara
Joe Tadayoshi Miyahara, 97, of Lawai, passed away on Dec. 9, 2018, at his home.
Born on May 15, 1921, in Lawai, he was a retired park caretaker.
He is survived by wife Sakiko Miyahara of Lawai, son Alvin (Kari Egami) Miyahara of Honolulu, two grandchildren, sister Shigemi “Susie” Fukunaga of Honolulu, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, Dec. 28, at the Koloa Jodo Mission from 10:30 a.m., where services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Inurnment will follow at Koloa Jodo Mission.
The family suggests casual attire and requests that flowers be omitted.
Garden Island Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
