KAPA’A — The Kapa’a Warriors will host the 18th Annual Ron Martin Baseball
Tournament this week at the Kapa’a High School field.
Kapa’a and KIF
rivals Kaua’i High and Waimea High will compete in the tournament along with
visiting Roosevelt High School of O’ahu and Pahio High School of the Big
Island.
The tournament starts on Thursday and runs through
Saturday.
The Thursday and Friday games are at 10 a.m., noon and 2
p.m.
The Saturday games are scheduled for 9 and 11 a.m. and 1 and 3
p.m.
The team with the best won-loss record will be named as the tournament
champion.
The KIF baseball season will start on Saturday March 25 when the
Kapa’a Warriors visit the Waimea Menehunes for an 11 a.m. doubleheader at
Hanapepe Stadium.
Kaua’i High’s first regular season game is Wednesday,
March 29 at 2:45 p.m. at Vidinha Stadium against Waimea.
