the Red Dirt Boys in check as Puhi turned on balanced firepower led by Matt
Taba, Ron Garlie, and Chris Acoba to take a 73-60 win over the Red Dirt Boys
who were led by Mason Ceria and Micah Smith each firing 13 points.
Jaime
Cabral ignited for 12 of his game-total 18 points in the second half to pace G
& G Repair away from a 24-24 halftime deadlock, and sew up the 70-55
victory over Snap.
Dustin Gummerus who topped G & G Repair’s scoring,
aided the effort with 9 of his game-total 19 points.
Ricky Oyama came up
with 10 of his game-total 13 points to pace the Snap effort that came up short
despite strong showings from Reid Yoshimoko who fired 7 of his game-total 9
points in the second half and Ray Shimento who came up with all of his 6 points
in the second half.
Nash Albery, topping the Snap scoring with 14 points,
was limited by just four points in the second half.
Rich Colipano fired 22
points to lead Matais to an 84-44 win over Kapa`a High in the finale.
Duane
Shimogawa helped the win with 16 points followed by Jeff Sullenbarger adding 15
points, and Charles Ortiz coming up with 13 markers.
G. Sorreto was high
point scorer for Kapa`a High with 20 points with K. Hendrickson adding 10
points.
