New York, NY – Golf Magazine announced its biennial list of the “Top 100 You Can Play,” which will appear in the September issue on newsstands August 13.
The boom in public course development over the past five years is reflected with 24 courses making their debut, the most ever. World-class public layouts can now be found in non-traditional golf destinations like Nebraska, New Mexico and New Jersey.
On Kaua’i, two courses have emerged as the nation’s top courses. Princeville’s Prince Course has the island’s top ranking at 20; Kaua’i Lagoons is nestled at 74. In total, eight Hawaii courses made the top 100, the highest being the Challenge at Manele in Lanai.
