Henry Nakao of Kapa’a, Kaua’i, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, on Aug. 2, 2002, at the age of 69.
Born in Hawai’i on March 28, 1933, he was a painter
He is survived by four sons: Lloyd Nakao of Honolulu, Brizy Nakao of Honolulu, Mark Nakao of Honolulu, Kevin Nakao of Wailua; one brother: Stanley (Frances) Nakao of Honolulu; one sister: Hazel (Alvin) Tachibana of Honolulu; 1 grandchildren; numerous nieces & nephews.
Private services were held.
Arrangements were handled by Garden Island Mortuary, Ltd.

Nancy Yoneko Kapali of Makakilo, HI, died July 30, 2002, in Makakilo, at the age of 74.
Born April 7, 1930 in Koloa, Kaua’i, she is survived by her husband, Henry K. Kapali; son, Ricky Teraoka; daughters, Lisa Camara and Shelly Teraoka Suizo of Lihu’e, Kaua’i; brothers, James (Nora) Uyeda and Kanao (Patsy) Asaoka; sisters, Catherine (Harold) Niwa and Kiyoko Arinaga; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, at Mililani Downtown Mortuary. Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. The family asks that flowers be omitted and suggests casual attire.
