Arturo Pascual of Oma’o, Kaua’i, died on July 13, 2002, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, at the age of 64.
Born in the Philippines, on May 3, 1938, he was a dishwasher.
He is survived by his wife: Guillerma Barroga Pascual of Oma’o; sons & daughters: Dante (Marissa) Pascual of the Philippines; Imelda (Nestor) Melchor of Oma’o; Joven (Imelda) Pascual of Honolulu; Felimar Pascual of the Philippines; Elizer (Sarah) Pascual of the Philippines; Gilbert (Grace) Arcangel of Las Vegas; Cheryll Ann Pascual of Honolulu; mother: Leonila Pascual of the Philippines; sisters: Rosita Pascual and Candida Arcangel; 8 grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family on Friday, Aug. 16, at Borthwick Kauai Mortuary Chapel in Koloa from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. and again on Saturday, Aug. 17, at St. Raphaels Church in Koloa from 8 a.m. – 9:45 a.m. where mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at St. Raphaels Church cemetery in Koloa. Casual attire is suggested.

Yoshiko Matsumoto
Yoshiko Matsumoto of Kalaheo, Kaua’i, died on Aug. 10, 2002 at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 94.
Born in Koloa, Kaua’i on Feb. 27, 1908, she was a retired Store Clerk with Kukuiolono Store.
She is survived by her husband, Kazumi; two daughters, Mildred (Ted) Miyahara of Hilo, Hawai’i and Violet (John) Burgess of Aiea, O’ahu; brother, Kenji Doi of Honolulu, O’ahu; two sisters, Lillian Yamada of Kapa’a, Kaua’i and Emi Schaefer of Kalaheo, Kaua’i; 2 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may visit with the family at 4 p.m. on Aug. 14, 2002, at the Koloa Hongwanji YBA Hall; service officiated by Rev. Hardeman will begin at 5 p.m. Casual attire is suggested.

Richard Charles Adams of Kilauea, Kaua’i, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital, on July 31, 2002, at the age of 50.
Born in California on Jan. 13, 1952, he was a owner and operator for a limousine service.
He is survived by his wife: Jasmin Adams, three daughters: Kelsey Quinn Adams, Khyra Quinn Adams, Krystie Quinn Adams; mother: Frances Adams of California; one brother: Dale Adams of California; one sister-in-law and one niece both of California.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002 at St. Williams Church in Hanalei from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. where Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Donations may be mailed to: Jasmin Adams at P.O. Box 1295, Kilauea, HI 96754.

Lisa Simao
Lisa Marie Simao of Kalaheo, Kaua’i, died Aug. 1, 2002, at the age of 38.
A waitress for Joe’s on the Green, she was born in Lihu’e, Kaua’i, on June 12, 1964.
She is survived by her parents: Bernard and MaryJane Simao of Kalaheo; one daughter: Marlyssa N. Vidinha of Wailua; two sisters: Lori (Melvin “Brodie”) Medeiros of Kalaheo and Lani Boldt of Honolulu; and five nieces.
Family and friends may call on Friday, Aug. 16, at Holy Cross Church in Kalaheo, from 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. where Mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. by Father Keahi.
