HANAPEPE – A special six week clinic taught by tennis pro Koko Chang for Westside juniors, 6 18 years old will be held at Hanapepe Courts, starting Wednesday, September 18 from 3pm-4pm. The County of Kauai Hanapepe Neighborhood Center After School Program with Kauai District Tennis Association (KDTA) will offer this clinic in partnership with Hawaii Pacific Tennis Asso. at $20.00 per student for six classes. WAILUA – Kauai District Tennis Association (KDTA) will offer a special clinic taught by tennis pro Koko Chang for Eastside juniors, 6 17 years old at Kauai Coconut Beach Tennis Courts each Friday from 4pm-5pm and Saturday from 10am-11am. Classes will start Friday, September 20. KDTA is offering this clinic in partnership with Hawaii Pacific Tennis Asso. at a special rate of $20.00 per student for six classes. Waimea’s Boys & Girls Club offers tennis lessons and Girls Volleyball League
WAIMEA – The Boys & Girls Club of Waimea invites all girls age 9-16 to sign up for their Girls Volleyball League. Stop by the Clubhouse in Waimea and ask for applications. The league will being in Oct. and is free to all current members. Non-members can become members for only $10 per year.
Also, beginning Wednesday, Sept. 18, The Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii – Waimea clubhouse – will be offering free tennis lessons to all current members. Lessons will be taught every Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Waimea High School tennis courts.

Boys and Girls Club in Kapa’a Clubhouse to hold Teen Hoops Program
KAPA’A – The Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii – Kapa’a Clubhouse in collaboration with the County of Kauai Parks & Recreation is starting a Teen Hoops Program beginning Friday night, Sept. 6, 7 p.m. – 10 p.m. And continuing every Friday night.
We will have open gym for an opportunity for teens to play basketball and/or volleyball. Monthly tournaments and competitions are scheduled for the near future. Hot dogs and soda will be sold during the evening. Come hang out, shoot some baskets, have fun, and maybe form your own team and compete with others. Special membership fee for teens only is $1 per year. This is a drug free program.
