New Hanapepe signs - The Garden Island

The aging Hanapepe gateway signs are to be refurbished by Hanapepe residents. The Hanapepe Economic Alliance hopes to replace the plywood signs with sturdier routed wood signs. The same style of type and design would remain. A new black lava rock wall would be added to the signs and adorned with international symbols that show what services are available in Hanapepe. The grounds around the signs would be relandscaped. Supplies for the project are being sought by the community group. For more information call 335-0227.
