General election voter registration deadline Monday

The County of Kaua’i’s Elections Division will accept voter registrations until Monday, Oct. 7 for the upcoming general election.

The general election is set for Tuesday, Nov. 7.

Completed voter registration forms must be turned in by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, or postmarked by midnight that day if mailed.

– U.S. Post Offices

– Public libraries

– Verizon Yellow SuperPages

– Elections Division office in the historic Kaua’i County Building on Rice St.

– Most state agencies

To vote you must be a U.S. citizen, a resident of Hawai’i and at least 18 years old.

Currently registered voters who have changed their names or moved since the last election should re-register before the voter registration deadline
