OAHU — The 2003 USA Hockey Inline Regional Championships were held over the Memorial Day weekend at the Kamiloiki Inline Hockey Rink in Hawaii Kai on Oahu. Kauai was represented by a team in each of the four age divisions.

Once again, the Kauai Bullfrogs were victorious in the 17 and under class.
The Kauai Bullfrogs 17 and under team defeated the Oahu Shaunees 6-1 in the championship game to once again be crowed regional champions.
The Bullfrogs, comprised of boys that have played together since 1995, have never lost in the regionals as they have moved up in each age division.
Tyson Wakayama led the way with six goals and three assists.
Captain Eric Fujikawa contributed three goals and six assists.
Travis Taketa and Alohi Costa were outstanding in goal.
The Na Alakai 10 and under team, which came in second to an Oahu team, was led by Kaysie Otas four goals and two assists.
Kirsten McCracken contributed two goals.
The young Na Alakai 12 and under team finished with 1 win and 2 losses in a very tough division.
They were paced by Noah Murray with two goals and three assists and Keala Davis with two goals and two assists.
The Na Koa Kauai 14 and under team started slowly and lost its first two games before defeating Maui and lost a tough 3-2 decision to the eventual champion Kona.
Shane Shimanuki led Na Koa with seven goals and two assists along with Chase Bohns three goals and two assists.
