The $26,000 Converse Hawaiian Open, Presented by Longboard Magazine will take place at Ala Moana Bowls on O‘ahu running August 15-17.
The event is Stage 2 of the 2003 United States Professional Longboard Surfing Championships
It is the world’s only pro longboard series for both men and women.
The Converse Hawaiian Open will carry critical points towards the ultimate titles of men’s and women’s U.S. Professional Longboard Champion.
The champions will be crowned at the conclusion of the 3-event series in California, Sept. 21.
The Men’s main event is $10,000 – first place receives $4,000.
The Women’s main event: $10,000 – first place receives $4,000.
The Men’s noseriding event; $3,000 – first place receives $1,000.
The Women’s noseriding event: $3,000 – first place receives $1,000.

The first stop in the three-part series was “The Easter Surfing Festival Longboard Pro” April 17-20 at Cocoa Beach, Florida.
Stop 3 is “The Converse California Classic” Sept. 19-21 at Surfrider Beach, Malibu, California.
