The Hanapepe Steel Scorpions’ Micah Quinlan demonstrated his hustling skills to pass off to Dallas Correa who notched the third Scorpions’ goal in their 4 – 1 win over the Lihu‘e Raiders in AYSO U10 Boys action played at North Vidinha on Saturday, Sept. 13. Austin Chicoine iced the victory in the last quarter with a goal on a pass from John Medeiros.

Kalechi Young had an opportunity to pull the Raiders in front only to have the Scorpions’ goalie Dylan Thomas punt the attempt away.
Teamwork between Isaac Fierro and Correa yielded the second Hanapepe goal as Correa drew the Raiders’ goalie out while Fierro fed Chicoine who scored the Scorpions’ go-ahead goal.
Tanner Kimura kept the Raider charge alive, but was denied by Scorpions’ goalie Isaac Fierro.
Game reporter Donna Morrison noted outstanding play from Raiders Tyler Topenio and Aeron Inouye.
