The Waimea High School Menehune, coming off a double-header sweep of the Kapa‘a Warriors on Saturday face a must-win situation when they host the Kaua‘i High School Red Raiders this afternoon at the Hanapepe Stadium for a single game starting at 2:45 p.m.
The Menehune hold a 2-loss standing going into the contest while the Red Raiders have a 1-loss standing.
A Menehune win at home will force a tie for the first round control necessitating a playoff game on Saturday, Apr. 10 at a site to be determined following the outcome of Wednesday’s game.
A Red Raider win will give Kaua‘i the first round title, and Round two play begins Saturday as Kapa‘a travels to Vidinha Stadium for a double-header starting at 10 a.m.
