KAPA‘A — Wailana Borrero allowed two runs on two Na Koa hits while striking out six and walking three as she led Hokuala to their second straight victory in the summer league 14 and Under girls softball Thursday night at the New Kapa‘a Park. Hokuala continued their domination of the game by taking Kapa‘a, 12-2 in a game shortened to five innings by the mercy ruling.
Le‘a Tamura suffered the loss for Na Koa in three innings after allowing six runs on four Hokuala hits, and walking four batters. Stephanie Kawamura took over for the remainder of the game allowing six more runs on five hits with no walks.
