Gregoria (Gloria) Cruz Figaroa of ‘Ele‘ele, died at her home, on Feb. 21, 2005, at the age of 73.
Born June 8, 1931, in Kalaheo, she was a dishwasher and pantry worker at Poipu Beach Waiohai.
She is survived by three daughters: Swanie Anna (Bob) Kepple of Iowa, Paulette (Leon) Glover of Arkansas, and Joan Rivera-Sims of Kaua‘i; stepchildren: Genevieve (Rodney) Sialana of Washington, Jacob (Mary) Figaroa of Kalaheo, Diana (Rodney) Toki of Kapa‘a, and Sonny (Charlotte) Figaroa of ‘Ele‘ele; 15 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; six step grandchildren; one sister: Evelyn (Dick) Keeler of Maryland; one brother: Nelson (Hiroko) Louis of ‘Oma‘o; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 28, at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa where services will be celebrated at 10 a.m. by Father Biz. Inurnment Tuesday, March 1, at Hanapepe Public Cemetery at 10 a.m.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
David Rapozo
David Rapozo of Kapa‘a, died Feb. 22, 2005, at Straub Hospital in Honolulu at the age of 49.
Born May 2, 1955, in Lihu‘e, he was the proprietor of a yard service business.
He is survived by his fiancee: Carolyn “Dee” Rivera Gutierrez; four children: Shellie (Wyatt) Rapozo, Kawika Rapozo, Leinani (Dallas) Gutierrez-Kelley; Jr. (Kailani) Gutierrez; mother: Hazel Brown; sister: Sandra (Alan) Palmeira; brothers: Charles (Tina) Rapozo, Raymond (Dorina) Rapozo, Jr., Steve (Diane) Rapozo, and Nolan (DeeAnn) Rapozo; six grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, March 1, from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa. Memorial services will be celebrated at 11 a.m. by Kahu Vidinha.
