Members of the Garden Nile Bellydance Troupe said in a press release they will be hosting the first annual Arabian Nights event, an evening of Middle Eastern dance.
The event is Saturday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Lihue United Church parish hall, with reserved seats expected to be sold out if they are not sold out already, said Dixie Pritchard, one of the troupe’s members.
The performance will include new choreography, featuring fire, sword, veil, wings, mystic whirling, and Egyptian cane dancing.General admission tickets are $12, and VIP tickets are $25.
“I think we’re going to have a sold-out night,” said Pritchard.
