Tobacco-Free Kaua‘i and the American Cancer Society present the Great American Smokeout from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Kukui Grove Center.
There will be entertainment Center Stage, “Kick Butts” martial arts demonstrations, high school posters, on-the-spot quit smoking help, free carbon monoxide testing, information on the new statewide ban, cold turkey sandwiches and giveaways.
The American Lung Association, the state Department of Health, Ho‘ola Lahui Hawai‘i, Malama Kaua‘i, Wilcox Health, Tar Wars and REAL.
The American Cancer Society will also hold its annual Relay For Life on May 5 at Hanapepe Stadium.
