The Hawai‘i Health Guide Health & Wellness Education Scholarship Fund will provide encouragement, recognition and financial support to those Hawai‘i students who are electing to pursue careers in Health & Wellness in Hawai‘i in Fall 2007.
The Hawai‘i Health Guide Health & Wellness Education Scholarship 2007 award fund is available to all Hawai‘i students regardless of age. High school students and people pursuing a mid life change of career are equally welcome to apply.
Funds will be directly applicable to tuition costs at an established school or CEU accredited workshop, or cultural practice through the lineage of a recognized kumu/ apprentice healing tradition.
All applicants for these scholarships must be:
(1) Current resident of Hawai‘i
(2) Enrolled in course of study in Health & Wellness profession in Hawai‘i — Fall of 2007. (see application for details)
The scholarship application deadline is July 1, 2007.
Scholarships award recipients will be announced on July 14 at Kaua‘i Community College at the Kaua‘i Healing Garden Festival.
