Kiyoji Masaki
Kiyoji Masaki of Waimea died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on July 4, 2007, at the age of 72. Born in Waimea on Aug. 8, 1934, he was a retired county engineer with the County of Kauai.
He is survived by son Jon Masaki of Waimea; daughters Sharlyn (George) Kanna of Kalaheo and Allison (Gary) Jones of Los Alamitos, Calif.; four grandchildren; two sisters Kimie (Alan) Higashiyama and Mikie Miyasato; numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, 2007 at the Garden Island Mortuary chapel; service at 4 p.m. Casual attire is suggested and that flowers be omitted.

Clyde Tamotsu Shigematsu of Lawa‘i, died at Wilcox Memorial Hospital on July 2, 2007, at the age of 55.
Born in Lihu‘e on March 5, 1952, he was a building contractor and owner of C. Shigematsu Construction Inc.
He is survived by his wife, Alison; beloved Keiko of Lawa‘i; mother Yoshiko Shigematsu; brother Ricky (Lori Cabebe) Shigematsu; sisters Karen (Miles) Tone, Wanda Corr and Lisa (Blaine) Dela Cruz; brothers-in-law Tracy (Marjorie) Hirano and Roy (Lisa Bupp) Hirano; sister-in-law Janice Ueoka (Garry) Kemp; uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Friends may visit with the family at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, at the Garden Island Mortuary chapel; service officiated by Caroline Miura will begin at 4 p.m. Casual or aloha attire is suggested and flowers omitted.

Jose S. Pablo of Kaumakani died at Kauai Veterans Memorial Hospital on July 4, 2007, at the age of 93.
Born in Ilocos Norte, Philippines, on Jan. 22, 1914, he was a truck driver with Olokele Sugar Company.
He is survived by his wife Naeko; sons Eli (Sylvia) Pablo of ‘Ele‘ele, Ted (Janice) Pablo of Honolulu, Arnold (Jeanie) Pablo of Wailua and Royden (Carmela) Pablo of Lihu‘e; daughters Valerie (Dayne) Shigematsu of California, Celia (Arthur) Etes of Chicago, Julene (Jonathan) Kaneakua of Kaumakani and Christine (Conrad) Ramos of Lihu‘e; 20 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, July 13, at Garden Island Mortuary Chapel; service at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Hanapepe Public Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested and that flowers be omitted.
