Rosario M. Anguay of Kilauea, died July 31, 2007, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at the age of 81.
Born Feb. 26, 1926, in Hawai‘i, she was a bus driver.
She is survived by husband William Anguay of Kapa‘a; sons Lloyd (Cissy) Bond of O‘ahu, Steven Bond, Dennis (Susan) Apilado and Jimmy Apilado, all of Kaua‘i; daughters Shirley (Jordan Sr.) Kahananui, Barbara (Joseph Jr.) Nakamura and Joann (Wade) Apilado Murabaya-shi, all of Kaua‘i; stepson Nathan Anguay of O‘ahu; hanai daughter Maria Apilado Berdon of Hilo; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins and brother Narcesso Mamalias of Washington.
Private services were held on Wednesday, Aug. 8, at St. Catherine’s Church in Kapa‘a. A private scattering service was held on Thursday, Aug. 9.

Clarence Keoki Norton Luczon Jr.“Koopa,” of Wailua Houselots, passed away from injuries he received in a car accident on Koloa Road. He was medevacked from Wilcox to Queen’s Medical Center on O‘ahu, where he passed away on July 27, 2007, at the age of 14.
Born Feb. 22, 1993, in Lihu‘e, he was a student at Kapa‘a Middle School, then Chiefess Kamakahelei in Puhi.
He is survived by his grandmother Viviana Cabinatan Luczon of Wailua House-lots, grandfather Julian Luczon of Wailua Houselots; father Clarence Luczon Sr. of Kalaheo; mother Elizabeth Sanay-Pa‘aoao of Kaumakani; sisters Ashlyn Luczon of Kalaheo and Chanlyn Luczon of Wailua; niece Aaliyah-Feigh Carbonell (the apple of his eye) of Kalaheo; great-grandmother Saturnina Cabinatan of Hanama‘ulu; uncles Norman and Julian Luczon Jr., aunts Lorna and Angela; several other uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Wake services will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17 at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel in Koloa. Friends may visit with the family from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 at Borthwick Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in Lihue Cemetery.
Casual attire is suggested. Arrangements are being handled by Borthwick Kauai Mortuary.
