The Westside Pride kept its undefeated showing in the Kaua‘i Soccer Association’s Under 8 division with a 2-0 edge over the Ha‘aheo Teeny Wahine, Sunday at the North Vidinha soccer fields.
The Ha‘aheo TW are in third place with a 3-2-0 record for 9 points.
With five games under its Seven-a-Side belt, the Ha‘aheo Boys (4-1-0) follow the Pride (5-0-0) with a dozen points in the standings following its 5-0 shutout of the Kapa‘a Blaze (1-4-0, 3 points).
Following the Ha‘aheo TW, the Westside Falcons flew over High Maintenance, 10-0 to finish 2-3-0 and 6 points while the High Maintenance (0-5-0) continue to battle while seeking its first season win.
The Westside Falcons 10 took a 5-0 win over its 9 counterpart to retain the lead in the Under 10 division. The Falcons 10 finished Sunday with a 4-0-1 standing and 13 points. The Falcons 9 are in third place with a 2-2-1 record and 7 points.
A 1-0 edge by the Tunda Girls over the Kaua‘i Sparks keep them in second place with a 2-1-2 record and 8 points while the Sparks are 0-5-0.
The Westside Falcons swept its double-header, Sunday to improve to 5-0-0 and 15 points in the Under 12 division.
Allowing just 3 points in two games, the Westside Falcons downed the Panthers, 7-1 and nipped the Hawaiian Heat, 4-2.
The KSC-Blazing Angels was 8-3 better than the Lihu‘e Element.
With the win, the Angels hold second place in the division at 3-1-1 and 10 points while the Elements slip into a tie with the Panthers, the Elements finishing with a 1-5-0 record for 3 points while the Panthers are 1-4-0 for 3 points.
Wins by the Westside United and the GIFC-Cougars keep the lead deadlocked in the Boys Under 14 division.
Westside United was a 7-1 winner over the Eastside Galaxy while the Cougars edged the Westside Falcons 4-3.
With the wins, both the Cougars and Westside United enjoy 4-1-0 records and a dozen points apiece.
The Eastside Galaxy slips to 1-3-1 and 4 points followed by the Westside Falcons at 0-4-1 for a point.
Ha‘aheo Kaua‘i enjoyed a bye over the weekend, but remains entrenched at 4-0-0 and a dozen points in the Girls Under 14 division.
The GIFC-14 edged its d13 counterparts, 2-1 to remain in second place at 3-1-0 and 9 points while the GIFC-13 are at 0-6.
