The event was witnessed by Larry Blow, Kiyoshi Ogihara, Brad Imano, Henry Shibata, and Ron Holte.
Ovalles aces at Habitat for Humanity tourney
Bart Ovalles of Kilauea shot a hole in one on the eighth hole on Kaua‘i Lagoons’ Maile Course during the Habitat for Humanity golf tournament.
Ovalles used his 8 iron for 141 yards to ace the par-3 hole.
The event was witnessed by Moku Chandler, Alex Kelekoma and Jeff Chandler.
Last day for KPAL signups
Today is the last day to register for the Kaua‘i Police Activities League’s flag football and cheerleading season. Registration will be taken at all of the Big Save and Menehune Food Mart locations from Kekaha to Hanalei.
No late applications will be accepted. Registration fees can be paid by checks or money orders.
No cash will be accepted.
Application forms for coaching positions are also available.
The season starts next month.
