The Kaua‘i Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours/Networking event sponsored by Resort Construction Managers, Inc./Koloa Landing Po‘ipu Beach will be at its Koloa Landing Construction Site across of Sheraton Kaua‘i from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on July 30.
Attendees will have an update of the project’s construction timeline which is currently the only development moving forward in its condominium plans within the Po‘ipu area. Presently, the project is on track to complete Phase 1 comprising of 5 buildings in various stages of construction. Attendees will also have an opportunity to see first-hand in the Viewing/Model Center various models of the project as well as enjoy the beautiful summer sunset and views of Koloa.
A major benefit of the Chamber is networking whereby attendees meet and greet each other as well as make new or renew business contacts. Prizes and appetizers will be provided. Networking fee: $12 (Chamber members), $17 after July 23rd and $22 Non-members/Guests/At-the-Door).
Crime Prevention Seminar follows the Chamber’s Business After Hours/Networking event from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., July 31 at the Kaua‘i Marriott Resort & Beach Club. Recognizing the increase in crime, the Chamber in partnership with the Kaua‘i Visitors Bureau, the Hawai‘i Hotel Visitor Industry Security Association – Kaua‘i and the County of Kaua‘i co-sponsor this seminar that will provide attendees up-to-date information about how their business and the general public can become more proactive in deterring crime from occurring.
Topics for this half-day seminar include: Kaua‘i Police Department Overview (Crime trends, issues/strategies and how the business community can partner and help). Seminar fee: $20 Chamber & Non-members by July 28 and $30 after July 28.
