Adam Rapozo
Adam C. Rapozo of Makaweli died Oct. 4, 2009, at Kaua‘i Veterans Memorial Hospital at age 84. Born on Nov. 29, 1924, in Makaweli, he was a supervisor with Gay & Robinson.
He was preceded in death by his parents John Rapozo Sr. and Marianna; wife Katherine Rapozo; daughters Paulette and Penny; brothers Frank, John Jr., George and Joseph; sisters Margret Cremer, Marion Skivington and Lillian Kouchi.
He is survived by his sons Douglas Rapozo of Kekaha and Clyde (Naomi) Rapozo of Hanapepe; daughters Geraldine (Bob) Boehme of Michigan, Darlene Rapozo of Big Island, Tammy (Trent) Nakayema of Port Allen and Gail (Paul) Rapozo of Pakala; sister Betty Woodward of Texas; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation at 9 a.m., service at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 10, at Waimea Sacred Hearts Catholic Church. Burial to follow at Kekaha Cemetery. Aloha attire is suggested and flowers are welcome.

Alexander “Alika” Manoiki Kelekoma Sr. of Lihu‘e died Sept. 30, 2009, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 72. Born on July 21, 1937, in Hanama‘ulu, he serviced heavy equipment for Grove Farm.
He was preceded in death by his parents Franklin and Luella Kelekoma, daughter Luella Eino and brother Franklin Lono.
He is survived by his wife Tomie Kelekoma; sons Alexander (Becky) Kelekoma Jr., Bryan (Jocelyn) Kelekoma, Kevin (Linda) Kelekoma, Kelly (Cindy) Kelekoma, Kyle (Jonalen) Kelekoma; daughters Alicia Ann Kelekoma, Lori Ann (Robin) Troche, Jolynn (Benny) Galiza, Kuulei Kelekoma-Cardinez, Karla (Francis) Shimabukuro, Kim (Philip) Banquel; brothers Clay (Leonora) Kelekoma Sr., Ainsley (Linda) Kelekoma, David (Christine) Kelekoma; sisters Luella (Gilbert) Moniz, Darlene (Al) Oshiro; 33 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation from 9 to 11 a.m., service at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Lihu‘e. Burial to follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens. Casual and aloha attire is requested.
