Richard “Dickie” Raphael Vidinha of Kalaheo died Nov. 16, 2009, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 60. Born on March 26, 1949, in Lihu‘e, he was a production driver for the entertainment industry.
He is survived by his parents Richard and Concepcion Vidinha; wife Joyce Hoke Vidinha, daughter Tracy (Samuel) Texeira Searle; stepdaughter Judy Alices; stepson Ashford (Rachel) Alices; sisters Ida (John) Elliott, Colleen (Mike) Faye and Elisa (Rowland) Souza; brothers Kurt Vidinha and Irvin Vidinha; seven grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation at 9:30 a.m., service at 11 a.m., on Friday, Nov. 27, at Borthwick Kaua‘i Mortuary in Koloa. Burial to follow at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Casual attire is suggested.

Elaine M. McQuaid of Kalaheo died Nov. 4, 2009, at the Regency at Puakea at age 96. Born on Aug. 21, 1913, in Natrona, Pa., she was a registered nurse and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband Millard McQuaid; parents Ervin and Emma Beatty; sisters Erma Ford, Evelyn Stein and Elizabeth King; brothers Ervin and Edward Beatty.
She is survived by her daughter Coleen (Brian) Kasperek, son Millard (Susan) McQuaid and two grandsons.
Service at 9 a.m., on Friday, Nov. 27, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church.
Arrangements are being handled by Garden Island Mortuary.

Marie Visitacion Lorenzo of Lihu‘e died Nov. 17, 2009, at Wilcox Memorial Hospital at age 64. Born on May 2, 1945, in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was an activity aide with Mahelona Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents Leandro and Rosa Visitacion; brothers Macario and Pedro Visitacion; sister-in-law Bernarda Visitacion and brother-in-law Marcelo Calma.
She is survived by her husband Jerry P. Lorenzo; son Ryan V. Lorenzo of Aiea; daughter Joann V. Lorenzo of Renton, Wash.; granddaughter Jourdann Marquez; brother Mariano (Letty) Visitacion of Puhi; sisters Melchora (Felix) Daenos of Bacarra, Philippines, Theresa Calma of Hanama‘ulu and Martina (Simeon) Patricio of Kalaheo; sister-in-law Pia Visitacion of Kalaheo.
Visitation from 9 to 11 a.m., service at 11 a.m., on Saturday, Nov. 28, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Kalaheo. Burial at Kaua‘i Memorial Gardens.
Casual attire is suggested.

Paul Tsuyama
Paul Hisashi Tsuyama of Pueblo, Colo., died Oct. 19, 2009, in Pueblo, Colo., at age 67. Born on July 4, 1942, in Wahiawa, Hawai‘i, he was a retired U.S. Army sergeant major.
He was preceded in death by his father Tadao Tsuyama; mother-in-law and father-in-law Juanita and Frank Hupp; brother-in-law Butch Hupp and numerous aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his mother Yukiko Tsuyama; wife Fran Tsuyama; daughters Reiko, Kimberly, Jill and Ann; grandchildren Bryan, Kaylynn, Cole, Brayden and Trysten.
