Good luck to Angela Vento who will be enjoying her last day at the Sheraton Kaua‘i, Friday! She has been promoted to a position on O‘ahu and hopefully will remember the good people here and come back to visit often.

Hats off to Steve Yannarell, Sandi Kato-Klutke (she gets the chair next year), Jolene Ogle and all those Hawai‘i Hotel and Lodging Association, Kaua‘i Chapter members on a great golf tournament to generate scholarship money.
KCC culinary arts students were joined by the Kaua‘i High School AOHT students in helping the golfers, and chef Martina Hilldorfer said she had to bow out of the Rotary Club pronto pups for this year’s Waimea Town Celebration because she’s doing the Capt. Cook.
She and Billy Gibson still have tickets for the 24th American Culinary Federation breakfast, Feb. 14. Kato-Klutke said this was a good event and they were selling tickets at the tournament too.
Best wishes to girls soccer coaches Matt Victor and Colby Ayonon (Tammalyn Hasegawa is still a pretty good goalie) in their quest for the HHSAA Division II soccer title. Wouldn’t it be something if these two KIF powerhouses meet for the title Saturday?
