Tickets for the 24th annual American Culinary Federation breakfast are still available at locations around the island.
The annual event, billed as the biggest breakfast on the island, attracts thousands of diners to the Kaua‘i Community College campus where diners can enjoy entertainment, fellowship, and the work of chefs from some of the finest places to dine. The chefs are joined by the students of the KCC culinary arts program who work alongside the chefs and culinary staff to prepare a fine breakfast offering.
In addition to the breakfast, diners can enjoy browsing through various art offered for sale by the KCC art department, including ceramics by students of Wayne Miyata, and the large selection of used books at the sale located in the back of the KCC Performing Arts Center.
Assorted fresh fruits, pastries, pancakes, eggs Benedict, scrambledeggs, Portuguese sausage, ham, hashed brown potatoes, carved baron of beef, and omelets cooked to order can all be washed down with servings of Kaua‘i Coffee, a selection of Meadow Gold juices and milk, or Kaua‘i Springs water.
The 24th ACF breakfast will be available from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., Feb. 14 on the KCC campus.
Tickets to the event are $15 for adults before Feb. 14, and $18 at the door. Children are $5 for ages 5 to 10 years and children under 5 years old admitted free.
Tickets are available at the Kalaheo Coffee, Kaua‘i Coffee Visitor’s Center, the Koloa Fish Market, Fish Express in Lihu‘e, Pono Market in Kapa‘a, Mark’s Place in Puhi, or at the KCC cafeteria.
