LIHU‘E — The Kaua‘i Cowboys, a semi-pro football team that was in existence from 1993-2004 will be back on the field Saturday to play a warm-up game with some players coming over from O‘ahu.
The Cowboys, coached by Al Ah Loo, are scheduled for a 5 p.m. kickoff at the New Kapa‘a Town Park.
They are then scheduled to partake in a home-and-home, two-game series with a team from Texas, who will host the Cowboys on Feb. 12 in Houston, before coming to Kaua‘i for a Feb. 26 meeting at Vidinha Stadium.
