LIHU‘E — The Kaua‘i High School Red Raider girls’ volleyball team topped the KIF this season and for that, they were rewarded in the post season awards.
Red Raider senior Shyanne Sadora claimed player of the year honors and head coach Merill Carvalho was named coach of the year, a KIF release states.
The Red Raiders placed five players on the all-star team, with Sadora, Jordyn Zeffiro, Reanna Javinar, Jennifer Grady and Ashley Ramelb making the team.
Kapa‘a senior Ciara Wainwright was named to the team as an outside hitter while Waimea’s Mariyah Oliver, a sophomore, earned a spot on the team as a middle blocker.
